Elise has an Associate Liberal Arts degree with a certificate in Interior Design. She has been a retail business owner and manager, coordinated fundraising events, and served as a volunteer with Nar-Anon. Elise founded Dandelion Meadow in February 2017.

"My son was 14 when he started drinking and using drugs, and he is now 35 in recovery. He has three children and both mothers are in recovery. I visited Thistle Farms and listened to the residents' stories which touched my heart. That's when God put it on my heart that I needed to do more to help women in Loudoun County."
